BREAD & SALT: SEASON 2: Scaling Ararat


Meet the men who first conquered Ararat! Mount Ararat has held a sacred fascination since the dawn of history. But it was not until the 19th century that any human being dared to conquer Ararat’s 17,000-foot elevation, and reach the summit.

The Eastern Diocese is pleased to introduce a new video series, titled “Bread and Salt: Stories from the Armenian Church.” In this inaugural episode, Kathryn Ashbahian explains the symbolism of the “Water Blessing” service performed in the Armenian Church on January 6, the Feast of the Nativity and Theophany of Our Lord.
